  • It sounds good until you examine the proposal....many Teachers work on Master's Degrees or additional college credits during the summer months. I enjoy hiking, climbing and golfing in the summer.

  • This isn't about "glass houses." This is about the character of the man....need I mention Arnie, Jack, Gary, Ben, Sam, Walter....come on...you might be impressed by the swearing on the golf course but most of us that treasure the game, don't.

  • Excellent comment. Life as we know now is not the life that future generations will know. I agree. Let's get real here. The earth is constant flux. We are the ones that have "screwed" around with it's patterns that have gone on before us and will continue long after the Internet is dead.

  • No one "forced" these islands to be build on in such a manner. I understand the issues surrounding global warming but when people are allowed/encouraged to build in such fragile and vulnerable places, they must also understand the risks.

  • Of course the opposition party....I mean the Republicans...are going to give Obama a grade of "F"....but now that their ranking Senator has abandoned the party, what is left for them to do than be 'blockers' or 'nay sayers'.

  • Having summited Rainier twice and hike around it on the Wonderland Trail once, I have a great respect for The Mountain (as we refer to her in the Pacific Northwest). No one that goes into the National Park shouldn't first check all long-range weather maps and check with the Park Service first.
